Recycled cotton bag from the k-loop project

“K-loop” Project by KARIBAN BRANDS: forms part of a strictly circular economy movement. Exceptional traceability right through to the end consumer, thanks to blockchain trackers integrated into the yarn. It has its own Aware™ digital passport. 73% recycled cotton/25% recycled polyester/2% other fibres. This bag is part of the “K-loop” project. With this project, Kimood closes the strictly circular economy loop. The cotton used comes from manufacturing waste from Kariban branded cotton t-shirts, part of the KARIBAN BRANDS family. The polyester is derived from recycling plastic bottles. During the recycling process, “tracers” are added to the yarn, namely electronic chips containing a blockchain (an information storage and transmission technology) which records all the operations the yarn has undergone. Thanks to the Aware™ tracer technology, Kimood enables the end consumer to follow the entire production process, with the guarantee of a recycled product manufactured according to best practice with no possibility of alteration during the process. Kimood completes the circular economy loop with “k-loop”.
